Instructions to make to make Chana dal dhokla
- Rinse and Soak rice and dal for 4-5 hrs. After washing properly. Keep curd ready. Green chilli, garlic and ginger after peeling and cutting.
- Now in a mixer jar put the soaked rice and dals also add ginger, garlic ang green chilli. Grind it to smooth paste. Now put a kadai on heat adding water and after putting a ring put a greased plate to preheat.
- Now add turmeric, salt, hing and oil in a batter. Give it a good stir. Now the plate is preheated and its time to add eno. Add eno and immediately add 2 tsp water and stir it in a single direction. Now add the batter in a plate and finally sprinkle red chilli powder and cover the lid. Let it cook for 15 minutes.
- When its done, take out the plate and grease it with oil so it do not dry. Cut into pieces and serve it with garlic chutney. You can add tempering if wish.
- Garlic chutney: Add garlic, kashmiri red chilli powder, salt and curd in a mixing jar and blend it to a smooth paste or chutney.
