- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 TSP ASAFOETIDA

- 1 cup curd
- 21/2 CUP WATER
- 2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 TSP TURMERIC POWDER
- 1/2 TSP ASAFOETIDA
- 1/2 TSP MUSTARD SEEDS
- 1/2 TSP CUMIN SEEDS
- 1 tsp green chilli paste and garlic paste
- salt as per taste
- 4 tbsp oil
Steps to make to make Rasiya dhokla
- Take all the ingredients dhokla (Bengal gram flour, wheat flour and black millet flour, ginger and green chili paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, salt, baking soda, and asafoetida) in a deep plate.
- Mix well and it comes together like a dough, no need to add any water.
- Grease your hand with oil and shape the dhokla in round shapes.
- Take yogurt, salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and coriander powder in a bowl. Mix well and add water to make thin batter.
- Heat the oil in a pan on medium heat. Once hot add asafoetida, add mustard seeds, once they pop, add cumin seeds and let them sizzle.
- Then saute in ginger and green chili for 30 seconds.
- Immediately add prepared yogurt mixture. Let it come to a boil. Make sure that heat is on medium-high.
- Once it starts to boil (not simmer), add muthia one by one.
